Parent and child start together

Choose the child's age band. Each choice uses one fixed, pinned draft bundle. These checkboxes exercise fictional adult-role, consent, and child-assent states; they are not participant consent materials. The session ends automatically three hours after it starts, and unfinished answers are cleared and cannot be recovered. The combined result appears once at the end and cannot be recovered after leaving or refreshing this page.

How this test works

  1. Choose the child's age band.
  2. The adult confirms the parent or guardian role and the consent checkboxes.
  3. The child reads each story and picks the answer that feels closest, using the word help when needed.
  4. After the stories, the child answers a few final questions.
  5. The device is handed to the parent or guardian.
  6. The adult answers the observation questions from their own view of the child.
  7. The combined result appears once on screen and cannot be recovered after leaving or refreshing this page.

One sitting, nothing stored. No data is stored: the answers live only in this session's memory, nothing is saved in the browser, and everything is cleared when the session ends. The test must be completed in one sitting; an unfinished test cannot be restarted later from where it stopped. Refreshing this page or leaving it during the test can lose the session and its answers, and a result that has been shown or lost cannot be recovered.
